Colon Cancer in Murine Models and Humans III
Scope/Topic
Oct 19, 2010 - Oct 22, 2010 The Bar Harbor Club, Bar Harbor, Maine
Please note that the conference dates have been moved from 2009 to 2010.
This is the third in a series of conferences focused on modeling human colon cancer in the mouse and rat. The conference will address issues surrounding the multiple pathway hypothesis, diagnostic and prognostic genetic and epigenetic profiling, strategies for early detection, chemoprevention and therapeutics, progression and metastasis. Each issue will be addressed by a series of short presentations incorporating late breaking information, followed by extensive discussion. Each discussion will focus on ways to leverage molecular genetic modeling in rodents toward a clearer understanding of colon cancer in humans.
