The Mount Desert Island Stem Cell Symposium is a joint symposium of the Mount Desert Island Biological Laboratory and The Jackson Laboratory aimed at promoting the exchange of new ideas in the field of stem cell research.
The 2008 symposium, Epigenetic Regulation of Stem Cells, will include research presentations on chromatin remodeling, DNA methylation, microRNAs, proteins, and other epigenetic factors that influence stem cell development, differentiation, and renewal.
